The National Association of Tower Erectors (NATE) recently announced the companies formally approved to participate in the STAR Initiative for the 2016-2017 program year. FDH Velocitel is among the 100+ member companies representing the industry gold standard for safety and quality. FDHV has participated in the program each year since 2011.
“Companies involved in the STAR Initiative program have demonstrated that they are the cream of the crop, and this year’s participants certainly live up to the high standards NATE has established through this program,” said NATE Resource Specialist Nikki Gronau.
Eligibility for membership in the STAR Initiative requires companies to agree to (1) requisite levels of training, (2) implementation of a robust Safety & Health program, (3) the presence of a Competent Person on site at all times, and (4) the conduct and submission of quarterly site safety audits, among other requirements.
